LUCY PRICE COUNSELLING SERVICES
Welcome to Lucy Price Counselling Services.
All services offered, including individual counselling, family therapy, and couples counselling, are designed to foster understanding, healing, and personal growth. In addition, Lucy offers group therapy and courses that create a supportive community environment for shared experiences and learning.
It is essential to look beyond the individual and consider the broader context in which a person lives. Lucy approaches counselling from a person-in-environment framework, recognizing that our upbringing and the systems and institutions we engage with significantly influence our development and shapes the way we relate to the world.

LUCY'S APPROACH
With over 15 years of experience in mental health and substance use treatment, Lucy has worked in various roles, including practitioner, program developer, educator, mentor, and manager. Her extensive experience encompasses community-based mental health counselling, residential addiction treatment, second-stage housing, and intensive outpatient care.
Grounded in social work principles, her approach emphasizes the importance of examining the broader context of each individual’s life. Utilizing a person-in-environment framework, she recognizes that our family backgrounds and the systems and institutions we engage with significantly shape our development and inform our core beliefs about ourselves and the world.
By exploring these influences in a non-judgemental space, clients can gain valuable insights and foster self-compassion by addressing coping behaviours that may no longer serve their well-being.
